Macro Hotkeys: W and Q hotkeys, the tab function, the E, R, T, Y, U (I think from memory ) hotkeys, the K, L and hotkeys (for map control), and was in the process of learning more such as the individual build hotkeys). for example instewad of using the default reverse move hotkey D, change this to the space key. Some people use software add ons so that things like the spacekey can be changed. Some people find it is better to change hotkeys so that they are all accessable with one hand (usually the left hand if you are right handed). Though because I attempted to learn a little at a time, I never bothered to change them from the default ones as otherwise I would struggle to remember where I had placed the new hotkeys. If I had played as Nod I would have changed the default one click wonder hotkeys to just one keystroke. Though this was popular for a time I dont believe this is they way forward currently.Īlso as I play(ed) as GDI I remapped the exit APC functionfrom control + P so that it was just one keystroke. 7 = power plant, 8 = Refinery, 9 = RAX, 4 = WF, 5 = command post, 6 = airfield, etc. The numbers keypad can be doctored for use in the build section.Įg. Reports are NOT for people you disagree with.I have seen in many articles being said that it is very important to use shortcut keys and I do agree and I see the great benefits that this will bring to the player.īut I was surprised not to find any kind of article detailing how to do this and helping the player make this important and hard improvement.
